Myth 1: It’s all in your head
Working with crystals and stones is designed to get you out of your head and into the feeling. Stones don’t force you to rationalize or explain, they offer you the opportunity to experience. If you’re afraid it’s all in your head, stop thinking and experience the sensations provided by the crystals.

Myth 2: If crystals can help, they can harm
Crystals vibrate with an energy that can drag your energy away. Intention and state of mind play an important role here. If you expect crystals to harm you, this can end up being your experience, but that’s true of everything.
Your beliefs always play a part in your results and experience, whether you’re using stones or crystals, or taking a placebo or medication.
In general, if you approach crystals with the intention of shifting the vibrations for your greater good, it’s very very unlikely that you’ll be harmed in any way.
Myth 3: I need a spiritual background to use crystals and stones
Anyone can have a good experience with a stone, regardless of their « » spiritual level or any other practice. Some people who are doubtful, but motivated to live the experience to the full, may observe significant changes in themselves (this is much more common than you might think).
To use crystals, you don’t have to be New Age, spiritual or religious, nor do you have to go against any religion or spirituality.
All you need is an open mind and a sincere desire for change that serves your highest and greatest good.
Myth 4: I don’t need to clean my stones and crystals
Since crystals and stones tend to absorb energy, it’s actually important to cleanse them to remove any unwanted energy.

Myth 5: Expensive stones and crystals are the most powerful
Quartz is one of the cheapest and most common crystals, and also one of the most powerful.
The money you spend on a crystal has no relation to its effectiveness. What matters is how a crystal affects your energy, and some of the cheapest crystals can be exactly what you need.
The beginner’s mistake: theory > practice
If you’re here, it’s because you’re open-minded, curious and want to experience things for yourself, perhaps for the first time.
Don’t waste too much time studying everything about stones for months or years, we advise you to move quickly from theory to practice. Experiment with stones and crystals, try them out, keep going, persevere.
